Sticks and Stones Telling Stories

Nature is Alive

EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

Among our growing portfolio of undeveloped rural properties made available through our gallery, we have a few offerings that showcase the dramatic and yet imitate impact of water. The exhibition brings together several pieces across several mediums delivering a full sensory experience including audio and visual pieces, arial and ground works, and microscopic and panoramic photos. *Each piece for sale includes the property from which it was inspired.

AN EXHIBITION NFT PIECE PROFILED

One of our artists had the pleasure of spending two days documenting the life flow of a spring running through an eight acre property in rural Missouri. This water feature was documented by air via drone, with pencil on paper, and with the use of field recording devices. In the released Field Shot below, Micah Canfield observes and records the polarizing impact of the spring’s consistent destruction of the limestone while simultaneously sustaining new life in the pool below.

PROPERTY LOCATION

This eight acre property is located in rural Western Missouri. The deeded property includes the water rights to the documented spring on the northern end of the property. The property sustains innumerable life forms including native plants, insects, birds, and small and large mammals. *Exact coordinates and relevant property information is available to inquirers through: art@acregallery.com

CONSIDERED NFT PIECES

Micah produced over a dozen visual clips to compliment his many wildlife audio recordings captured while on the property. His portfolio for NFT piece production consideration also included several drawings and photos.  After a formal review of all the pieces created, the Acre Gallery team resonated most with Micah’s six-hour recording of the spring at the base of largest pool on the property. This unique, ambient sound recording piece provides a teleportation to the base of this rural spring where new life thrives.

FINAL NFT RELEASE - ONE OF ONE

Provided below is 30-second preview of the six hour enhanced, ambient noise, audio piece. Identifiable in the full audio piece are the playful calls of Eastern Bluebirds, the chaotic movement of fish leaping for passing plant matter, and a family of squirrels gathering acorns amongst the fallen leaves.

* NFT PIECE UPDATE:  This piece has been sold.  Per a recent communication from the collector, we were delighted to learn this work is now being used to maintain a peaceful rest environment for his infant daughter. When not in use in the family nursery, this piece is played in his art studio where additional wildlife collections are on display.
